This course is for individuals who have a Modern Sporting Rifle\, A.K.A  AR 15\, and would like to know how to safely handle and shoot while integrating tactics that are useful for defense. This course is designed for individuals that have a working knowledge of their firearm.\n\nDuring this course we will be covering how to move\, shoot\, overcome malfunctions\, positions\, and more. This course will be conducted predominantly on the range. Due to the nature of this course\, enrollment is limited to 10 seats.\n\nPre-requisites: Working knowledge and fundamentals of safety while manipulating a rifle/carbine. This includes a Carbine 1 Course\, Law enforcement training\, Military Training or similar.\n\nNot using an AR15 or M4? Have no fear! SUMMARY:Overcoming Darkness - Dim Light Shoot
DESCRIPTION:This course was specifically designed to expose the student to the proper use of a flashlight and handgun in a low light environment. Bad actors use darkness to conceal their nefarious intentions and as such crime can occur in low or reduced light. The National Incident Based Reporting System confirms this. Many people have never shot their handgun in a low light condition or with the use of flashlight. This course will cover the fundamentals of using a handheld light and/or a weapon mounted light to identify targets and accurately engage them. We will cover light terminology\, tips and tricks\, and of course tactics. This is an outdoor class – please dress appropriately and should you have any questions on required gear please ask.

This training teaches three important options: Avoid\, Deny\, Defend.\n\nWho is this training for? ANYONE. School employees\, parents\, churches\, businesses\, retail workers\, etc. You never know where evil will strike\, and our mission is to help you be more prepared when it does.\n\nStop the Bleed will also be incorporated into this curriculum.\n\nThis is a FREE training\, but we would love to collect non-perishable items to donate to Mountain Lion Back Pack Program.

During this class you will learn how to safely handle\, shoot\, and clean a handgun (among many other skills!) This is a full course which covers semi-automatic handguns as well as revolvers; whether you have been shooting for years or you are new to handguns\, you will learn something from this class! \nBut what do I need to bring with me? A pistol or revolver\, eye and ear protection\, 100 rounds of ammunition\, and an open mind. If you do not have a firearm\, please contact us and we will make arrangements for you to use one of ours. This is a great class to take if you do not know which firearm you want to purchase yet because you can come try one before you buy one! We do provide lunch during this class. AMMO NOTE: Please feel free to bring 22LR Ammo and use one of our guns to preserve your centerfire ammo. \nPlease note: This course is offered multiple times throughout the year\, if this date does not work there are others.
